Toured JAPAN several times during the years of 2000 - 2004 (see picture above) He performed for the Bob Dole Presidential Campaign
Gene Lane's resemblance to "The King" is striking, so much so that he was chosen to play a part in the movie "3000 Miles to Graceland," starring Kevin Costner, Kurt Russell, and Courteney Cox, from the "Friends" T.V. show.Gene Lane was recently inducted into the Elvis Impersonators' Hall of Fame! Gene Lane won 4th place out of 2000 contestants in the internationally renowned Elvis competition, in Toronto, Canada. He will be entering the 2004 competition in Memphis, Tennessee "Graceland.
